Thank you…

sundayschoolnewsThis spring Annitta H. offered her resignation after three years of serving as Sunday school Coordinator. We thank Annitta for her faithful service.

Whenever resignations occur the question arises, “So who will take over?” And when no one comes forward leadership begins to plan for other options. That’s what the elders began to do recently.

However, in the midst of our planning Gloria W. agreed to look after the older grades (2-5) and Brenda N. will continue to oversee the younger children (Grade 1 and under). We are thankful for their willingness to serve in this capacity.

Leadership like this is important, but we also need people who will support our leaders.

This summer we have prepared learning packages for the older children to be used during the sermon time. However, we still need volunteers to take the youngest children downstairs to play and watch children’s videos. We hope you will take a turn in supervising this time.

In the fall, we trust that you will also take the opportunity to serve as a teacher or helper. Our children’s ministry is a partnership involving all of us. It’s something almost any adult can do and we trust you will serve, following your Lord’s example.
