My wife often bugs me about my GPS unit. Whenever we go some place I turn it on and plug in the address, trusting that it will lead us to where we want to go. On other hand, my wife prefers a map or her own instinct about getting some place. I suppose what irritates her most is that I would choose to trust technology over her when it comes to directions.
She probably has good point there and one that I also see occurring as people seek direction in life. Where do we look for guidance?
When Jesus said, “I am the way and the truth and the life” (John 14:6) did he really suggest that he is the only GPS unit?
What is guiding you? Come and have your guidance system checked out this week as we gather to study, worship, listen, reflect and feed together on God’s Word.
